Work alongside leading researchers and administrators in Tromsø, the Arctic capital of the north.
About the Role
As part of UMAK (The Arctic University Museum and Academy of Fine Arts), you will support faculty and leadership with project finance, grant administration, and development of financial systems. This is a dynamic support role tied closely to externally funded activities, such as those sponsored by the Norwegian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and other public/private funders.
Your Key Responsibilities:

Assist with budgeting, reporting, and life-cycle financial tracking of funded projects

Streamline financial workflows and provide application guidance

Oversee purchasing, invoicing, travel bookings, employment contracts, and related administrative duties

Collaborate with project and unit managers for strategic financial oversight
Who We’re Looking For
Essential:

A relevant degree (MA for Advisor role, BA for Senior Consultant; experience may substitute)

Proficiency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language, and fluency in English

Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Unit4, SAP, Elements)
