The Versiti Blood Research Institute (VBRI), a leading U.S. center for blood-focused research, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position under Dr. Prithu Sundd. About the Research

The position provides training in state-of-the-art techniques, including:

  • Multi-Photon-Excitation Intravital Microscopy of the lung and other mouse organs

  • Microfluidic platform studies with human blood

  • Proteomics and single-cell transcriptomics

  • Advanced molecular biology and biochemistry methods

Candidate Requirements

Education

  • PhD in Cell Biology, Bioengineering, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Physiology, Immunology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pathology, or Molecular Biology.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong written and verbal English skills

  • Preferred background in neutrophil and platelet adhesion biology, thrombosis, lung biology, interferon signaling, and innate immunity
