About the Research
Are you passionate about molecular chemistry and materials science? This fully funded PhD position offers a unique opportunity to work on pioneering research at Uppsala University. The focus is on the synthesis and testing of covalent-organic frameworks (COFs) with dual functionality—electrical conductivity and X-ray absorption.
The project aims to develop next-generation materials for use in flexible X-ray detector technologies, a fast-evolving field with critical applications in healthcare and electronics.

Project Highlights

Who Can Apply?
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or Materials Science
Experience in molecular synthetic chemistry
Familiarity with electrochemistry (both theoretical and practical)
Strong command of English (spoken and written)
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in COF or MOF synthesis
Background in molecular electrochemistry
