Brønnøy Municipality invites applications for a 100% permanent position as a pedagogical leader at the Salhus department of Brønnøy Kindergarten. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated and passionate educator who wants to contribute meaningfully to children’s early development in a nurturing, inclusive, and playful environment.

About the Role

The educational leader will play a key role in shaping the daily and long-term pedagogical practices. Responsibilities include planning and implementing educational content, mentoring staff, ensuring smooth collaboration with families, and maintaining a positive learning space for children aged 1–6 years.

Working at Salhus Kindergarten

Salhus is one of four buildings that make up Brønnøy Kindergarten. It consists of three departments and accommodates 51 children. Located in a quiet residential area next to Brønnøysund Primary School, Salhus Kindergarten offers:

What You’ll Do

• Lead planning, execution, and evaluation of educational content

• Mentor assistants and contribute to staff development

• Collaborate across departments and with families

• Promote a caring, fun, and enriching environment for children

• Participate in planning days, cross-house projects, and competence development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or equivalent, including further studies in pedagogy

• Language skills: Norwegian (minimum B2 level required)

• Special education experience is a plus
