About the Research Group

The group led by Asst. Prof. Lisandro Milocco investigates how developmental processes shape evolutionary possibilities. Using quantitative models and data-driven simulations, the group connects genetics, development, and evolutionary outcomes.

Key research directions include:

  • Quantitative genetics & phylogenetics: modeling developmental constraints.

  • Modeling development from data: using time-series and comparative biological datasets.

  • Predictability of evolution: building integrative models combining genetics, phenotype, and environment.
