About the Role

The Nanofabrication Technician will support advanced research on qubit devices through fabrication, measurement, and process optimization. The position is central to material science integration at the nanoscale, requiring precision and repeatability in multi-step semiconductor processes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily fabrication and measurement tasks under SOPs.

  • Monitor and report process deviations.

  • Provide expertise in operating micro- and nanofabrication tools.

  • Conduct metrology using Optical Microscopy and SEM.

  • Support automated CD measurements and sample handling.

  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to improve process efficiency.


Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • MSc in Materials Science, Nanoscience, Physics, or related field.

  • Hands-on cleanroom and semiconductor fabrication experience.

  • Knowledge of Electron Beam Lithography.

  • Skilled in SEM/Optical Microscopy and image analysis.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
