The Medical University of Gdańsk (MUG) is inviting applications for the role of Assistant in the Department of Pharmaceutical Biochemistry. Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant, the appointed candidate will:
Conduct and document research or research & development activities.
Participate in publishing research findings and disseminating results.
Deliver didactic classes (seminars, laboratory work, exercises, practicals).
Contribute to organizational work for the University and Department.
Enhance professional qualifications through training, conferences, and workshops.
Improve teaching skills and English language proficiency; complete an academic didactics methodology course.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree or equivalent in one of the following:
Biology
Pharmacy
Medical Analytics
Biotechnology
Aptitude for both research and teaching.
Knowledge of biochemistry and molecular biology.
English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
Polish proficiency sufficient to conduct classes.
Preferred Candidate Profile
At least one peer-reviewed scientific publication (Q2 or higher) OR scientific output of ≥1.0 IF OR at least one registered patent application.
